Yard Hard Dumbbell & Bodyweight Program

The Yard 12 Week Athletic Development Program is a linearly periodized program which is guaranteed to improve your athletic performance and get you prepared for the upcoming season.

A 4 week adaptation phase focuses on reengraining sound movement patterns and targeting mobility limitations while developing your aerobic engine.

A 4 week strength speed & power phase follows, which will focus on developing full body strength while maintaining lean muscle mass and building anaerobic capacity.

A final 4 week power phase will get you prepared leading into camp as we decrease load, increase intensity and focus on speed strength and maximum velocity. Fast twitch, ballistic exercises and short burst anaerobic training bouts will have you feeling explosive and powerful come game time.

This program has been implemented, adjusted and refined over years of training professional, collegiate, and amateur athletes at The Yard.
