Foundations of Strength Training

The "Yard Hard" Foundations of Strength Training program is geared towards our novice lifters. Those who were once intimidated by the weight room, new to working out, or one time State Champs looking to rekindle their romance with the "Iron Paradise", this is the program for you.

This one month, 5 day/week program will rewire your body and refine fundamental human movement patterns with a variety of squat, hinge, pressing, rowing and bracing movements. We do not isolate specific body parts; instead, we train specific movement patterns. Days are broken into push/squat and pull/hinge days, so as to keep your body fresh enough for subsequent workouts while still overloading your system enough to provoke physiological adaptation. These workouts will balance out body asymmetries by training through all planes of motion in large supersets, with shorter accessory work to finish your workout.

This full body training program will provide you with a solid foundation to work off of moving forward, while reigniting your love for the gym.

Functional Mass Training

The "Yard Hard" Functional Mass Training program is designed for those looking to add lean muscle mass onto their frame. Looking for a chest as deep as your back is wide? Quads bigger than a small child’s torso? A booty that brings all the boys (or girls) to The Yard? All while maintaining (or working towards) abs you could clean your laundry on? You have met your match.

This 1 month, 5 day/week program consists of high volume, full body, tempo and pause sets utilizing all of the major compound lifts. We do not isolate specific body parts, but rather, train specific movement patterns. Days are broken into push/squat and pull/hinge days so as to keep your body fresh enough for subsequent workouts, while still overloading your system enough to provoke physiological adaptation.

This full body training program will be sure to take you one step closer to looking like the Adonis that you are.

 
 

Advanced Strength Training

The "Yard Hard" Advanced Strength Training program is handcrafted for our intermediate lifters. Looking to take your physique, strength, mobility, and overall human performance to the next level? This is the program for you.

This one month, 5 day/week program offers a lot of variety amongst all major compound movements, with a focus on the squat, deadlift, bench press and row. We do not isolate specific body parts, but rather, train specific movement patterns. Days are broken into push/squat and pull/hinge days so as to keep your body fresh enough for subsequent workouts, while still overloading your system enough to provoke physiological adaptation. Accessory work follows your traditional strength training to maintain and increase lean muscle mass. A fifth flex day will be sure to maintain your conditioning and work capacity with some increased volume and accessory exercises.

This full body training program will be sure to increase your lifts, decrease your waistline and transform you into a lean, mean, #YardHard machine.

 

Conditioning

The "Yard Hard" Conditioning program is designed for those looking for a good old fashioned ass kicking. Are you trying to trim your waistline, redefine your legs and squeeze back into your highschool wardrobe? We've got you covered.

This 1 month 5 day/week program consists of large full body supersets, finished with high intensity sprint work that will keep your heart rate high, brow sweaty and muscles burning. We do not isolate specific body parts, but rather, train specific movement patterns. Days are broken into push/squat and pull/hinge days so as to keep your body fresh enough for subsequent workouts, while still overloading your system enough to provoke physiological adaptation. Training sessions are finished with short duration, maximal intensity sprint work to spike your heart rate and boost your metabolism so you can kiss that excess body weight goodbye.

This full body training program will be sure to get you tight and trim while staying long and lean.
